Agneta Hobin is best known for impressive works in which yellow mica has been woven into metal warp; the technique and materials are the artist’s unique choices which she has been developing for over ten years.
Glow was constructed from mica interwoven in metal threads and steel by the artist. Hobin harvests mica from her yard in Finland and interweaves the pieces within metal threads herself. These materials uniquely capture changing light throughout the day.
